Motorcycle Auxiliary Light Mounts — Installation Bracket Buying Guide

The hardest part of adding auxiliary lights to a modern ADV bike isn't choosing the lights — it's finding a mounting position that doesn't look improvised. Modern fairings, radar sensors, and tight frame geometries leave almost no obvious attachment points, and universal clamps on the handlebar add vibration and visual clutter. LOBOO auxiliary light mounts solve this by engineering model-specific brackets for BMW, KTM, and Honda adventure motorcycles — using your bike's original frame holes to create a factory-style mounting point exactly where the light needs to be.

Why the Mounting Bracket Makes or Breaks Your Lighting Setup

Even the best auxiliary lights underperform if the bracket lets them vibrate out of alignment or flex under load. LOBOO light mounts are built from SUS304 stainless steel with CNC-machined precision, so the beam angle you set on the trail is the angle you keep for the rest of the ride. The rotatable adjustment mechanism lets you fine-tune left/right and up/down projection independently — then locks in position without creep.

  • Rotatable Angle Adjustment — Full horizontal and vertical adjustment at installation. Set your beam angle precisely, then lock it permanently for consistent projection on every ride.
  • SUS304 Stainless Steel Construction — Corrosion-resistant and high-temperature stable. Finished with electrostatic black sand grain coating that matches KTM and BMW's OEM hardware aesthetic.
  • Non-Destructive Installation — Mounts to original frame holes and existing bolt positions. No drilling, no cutting, no permanent modification to your bike's structure.
  • Horn Mount Reserve Space — Select brackets include a reserved installation position for an aftermarket horn — so you gain a light mount and a horn mount in the same upgrade.

Model-Specific vs. Universal: Which Do You Need?

A universal clamp-on light mount works — until it doesn't. On complex ADV fairings like the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R or BMW R1250GS ADV, there is often no suitable 22–28mm bar in an optimal position, and universal mounts end up too far forward, too low, or conflicting with the windshield
