Which R1200GS model years do LOBOO accessories fit?
This collection focuses on the liquid-cooled generation: BMW R1200GS (2013-2018) and R1200GS Adventure (2014-2018). The CONQUEROR pannier system is explicitly validated for both variants, and handguards, bar risers, and the LC081 controller cover the entire LC R1200GS family. Earlier air-cooled R1200GS (pre-2013) may have different mounting geometry — check each product page before buying.
Does the CONQUEROR pannier system fit both standard R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure?
Yes. The CONQUEROR set ships with bike-specific stainless steel racks — select your exact model (R1200GS LC or R1200GSA) at checkout and you'll get the right racks and hardware. All panniers themselves are interchangeable between the two racks, so if you upgrade bikes later you only replace the rack, not the cases.
Will R1200GS parts fit the newer R1250GS?
Some do. The CONQUEROR pannier system is explicitly cross-compatible between R1200GS (2013-2018) and R1250GS (2019-2024) — same 9-point mounting platform. Handguards are also cross-compatible. Crash bars, headlight guards, and radiator guards are typically model-specific because of chassis differences. Check the R1250GS collection for newer-specific parts.
Why do I need a headlight guard on the R1200GS LC?
The R1200GS Liquid Cooled uses an asymmetric LED headlight that sits exposed on the front fairing — a single stone on a gravel road can crack the lens, and replacement costs several hundred dollars. A polycarbonate or mesh guard absorbs or deflects debris for a fraction of replacement cost. Our guards mount externally without removing the headlight assembly.
Do LOBOO auxiliary lights work with the 2014-2018 R1200GS CAN-Bus?
Yes. The LC081 CAN-Bus Light Controller is specifically built for BMW CAN-Bus systems from this generation forward. It plugs into the native harness, controls lights through the OEM scroll wheel, and syncs strobe with the turn signals — no error codes, no aftermarket splicing. Works with our full auxiliary light range.
Can I install these accessories myself?
Yes, almost all R1200GS accessories in this collection install with basic hand tools in 30-90 minutes. Crash bars, handguards, bar risers, and headlight guards use factory mounting points — no drilling, no frame modification.
