What's the difference between the TIBET B panniers and the Alps Side Bags for the 790/890?
TIBET B is a hard aluminum pannier system — rigid protection, lockable, exhaust-cutout design for clearance on the right side. The Alps Inflatable Side Bags are a soft-luggage alternative — lighter, pack flat when empty, IPX7 waterproof, and mount to the OEM rack tubes without a dedicated pannier rack. Most 790/890 riders choose hard cases for touring and switch to the Alps bags for technical off-road days where lighter weight and no overhang matter more.
Does the KTM 790 headlight guard require removing the headlight to install?
