Can the drink holder hold anything other than water bottles?

It is explicitly compatible with GIVI and Touratech rack systems, which cover the majority of ADV bikes running aftermarket racks. If you're running a different rack brand, measure your rack tube diameter and width before ordering — if it falls within the 18mm / 212–262mm parameters, the box will fit.
Do I need any tools to install these accessories?
The crash bar bumper pads and drink holder both use tool-free installation with clip and buckle mechanisms that take under two minutes each. The tool box uses a simple strap-and-clamp system that can be hand-tightened onto the rack tubing — a screwdriver may be needed to secure the final tightening bolt depending on your rack profile, but no specialist tools are required.
