What is an inflatable crash bar bag, and how is it different from a regular crash bar bag?
A standard crash bar bag is a storage pouch that straps to your engine guard rails. LOBOO's inflatable crash bar bag adds a TPU inner bladder that, when inflated, becomes a shock-absorbing air cushion rated to over 300KG of impact force. In a tip-over, the bag hits the ground first, changing the angle of fall, cushioning the bike, and reducing damage to your engine cases and fairings. It's the only crash bar bag on the market that actively protects your motorcycle, not just carries your gear.
Are these crash bar bags waterproof? What's the IPX7 rating?
The BHGB05T Inflatable Model carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it's sealed against submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This is achieved through a three-roll, two-buckle closure that blocks rainwater infiltration even under sustained downpour. The BHGB11T Standard Model is rated IPX6, fully weatherproof for rain, splash, and trail spray. Both models use composite TPU high-quality waterproof fabric throughout.
Will these bags fit my crash bars? What diameter tube do they mount to?
LOBOO crash bar bags are designed for standard 25mm diameter crash bar tubing, the industry-standard size used on most ADV and dual-sport engine guards, including all LOBOO crash bar models. Can I use these bags on crash bars from other brands, not just LOBOO?
Yes. The Wanderer Series crash bar bags use universal webbing straps and are compatible with most 25mm engine guard tubing regardless of brand, LOBOO, aftermarket, or OEM crash bars. The adjustable webbing lock buckle accommodates minor variation in bar diameter and spacing. Check your crash bar outer diameter before ordering to confirm fitment.
How do I inflate the inflatable model? Do I need a special pump?
The BHGB05T features a standard air valve. You can inflate it with any bicycle pump, hand pump, or the LOBOO CP06 Portable Air Compressor that fits in a jacket pocket. Inflate until the bag feels firm to the touch; no specific PSI gauge needed. The TPU bladder holds air reliably and can be deflated and re-inflated at each ride.
How much can these bags carry? Are they sold as a pair?
The Wanderer Series bags hold 6 liters per bag. Both the Inflatable (BHGB05T) and Standard (BHGB11T) models are sold as a pair (two pieces), one for each side of your crash bars. Typical contents include a tire repair kit, rain layer, tools, chain lube, snacks, and small electronics. The MOLLE exterior system lets you attach additional pouches if you need to expand capacity on the fly.
